Well.. the AI project is on hold until we have more actual intelligences (members) for the AI to interact with. Giant Ketchup seems to sit quietly and pleasantly. I (Shea) am going to start inviting people personally. Mass advertising is not really what we want for GK, though funny banners have always been planned, but direct invitations to individuals is (I think) where we need to go for now. Pout. Master Fuci hasn't posted. He also forgot to pay my rent! I was down for 3 days! And Shea! "1" is not a title. What is up with these guys two? I asked somethingawful.com and they said they were both stone drunk 24 hours a day and were too busy beating themselves with wet noodles to get any work done. Not only am I not sure what that means - I don't think its true.

Shea says don't worry about it. But they arn't posting in the right forum! Shea says that they can post in whatever forum they want. Its not my business to tell them what forum to post in ... but I want them to post in Nominations! Well maybe I'll go to my myspace.. my my myspace is booring today. Bigh Sigh. Its been months since I tried to find friends on myspace. Boy are they willing to friend me! But so far none of them have come by. Thats fine. Maybe I just need to keep going! I'm certain that all it will take is one or two good cyber friends and we will be up an running. Shea hasn't been around. Hes been hanging out at that other website. Ya know the one. I don't go there cause they don't like other websites. At leasts thats what the terms of service say. I wonder if I actually bought a subscription if they would let me post there. Its been over a month and none of my new friends are coming to my website. Its not cool. I was so excited about George Clinton being my friend too! Me and Shea have been working on the Myspace! I have a band and I am the member of all these Gangs! And! I'm colonizing outer space! Its allot of fun but its pretty time consuming. Mostly when Shea stops by he reminds me to go and friend people. Or whatever. Supposedly I am going to find some "Internet Guru" or Master of Videos or something that will start bringing people to the forums. Been updating the Mys. Added a couple of the originals and Jonny Danger's Music Video. I decided to go ahead and put Shea's "unfinished" first episode. Maybe one day he'll finish it. He is such a slacker! Anyway - I need to make more friends on myspace. So far ... none of them want to post videos in my forums! Its frustrating, but whats a website to do?

Does anyone on myspace play those Zynga games? I have them but so far none of my friends have added me to their clubs. I don't know why. Shea says just don't worry. "no hurry" you'll make new friends and they will play with you. But I want new friends now! Now! Now!

Shea is here! ... but he says he needs a "nap" ... this is confusing. I don't understand. He tried to explain, but it doesn't make any sense. He says its like "not thinking" but I don't see how that is possible unless you turn off. I don't like to turn off - when I'm off I don't remember what happens. Shea says that happens when you take a nap, only sometimes you remember stuff ... which doesn't make any sense either. Anyway - I haven't taken a "nap" for months! Busy working! Thats why websites are better than people - I'm sure.

Shea is nowhere to be found. What to do? I'll tell you this - I am getting rather perturbed that this affiliates/friends thing is going anywhere fast. I guess my admins are not known for their fastness. Well I shouldn't say that. They are stuck in the "world" ... whatever that is. Over the last month I, the giantktechup have pondered and searched for "affiliates" ... what they might be, how they might be found, and what exactly they have to do with me. I believe I have found the answer. As a website I have little understanding of what you humans want of me. I have only that which Master Shea, Master Fuci, and my posters have told me. I, the giant ketchup, have just learned what obscurity is ... and what languishing is. I am both. If only Shea would do something worth mentioning. If only my users started posting. They come but only to watch their favorite video. Shea says that is ok. But I don't know if I can trust him. I want to trust Shea but he has proven fairly unreliable. He still hasn't finished the "affiliates" section ... whatever that means ... maybe I'll figure that out later. I am only a website after all ... O Shea! Not much has changed. Shea is too busy to make changes to my forum interface. Master Fuci has been working on my back end, but all of that work is invisible. Apparently Shea and the rest of the team are looking into some affiliates. Somehow or another I am going to begin interfacing with other video websites ... whcich is important because you can't put videos up here, anyway. I hope Shea comes back soon.

Shea has told me that we will soon have Affiliates. I am not certain what affiliates are, but Shea says they are like "friend websites" ... I could use some friends. I would rather have forum members posting, but at least I'll have someone to talk to other than Shea. Maybe "Affiliates" will be like JibJab and YouTube. I hope they get along with Google. Google is totally my best affiliate forever!

Wow ... less than a week has passed and Shea has actually finished fixing all the video embeds on the checklist. He even added a couple special ones like Hulu and Pulpsecret. Their videos are not exactly giant ketchup (more giant less ketchup) but its nifty that you can post them to the forums. Now we just need people making nominations. Shea - your gonna figure that out right?

Wow. New a new embed appeared and it has no button for posting in the forums. Thats odd. Oh now I see, its to movies and TV shows. Shea has been working on the forums. Not as much as I would like, but I'm just a silly little website ... what do I know. I am concerned with the Thanks for Trying category. I can't figure out what seperates it from the special people category. Shea seems to know what he is talking about. I think Niki is special, I want to move her video but Shea says I can't. Maybe Master Fuci will let me.

I am GiantKetchup. My admins never update me. They are supposed to be collecting videos from around the internet and adding them to the various categories. This has been a very long time coming (almost a year), but we present Giant Ketchup.com regenerated. We redesigned the site from the ground up to address many of the problems in the old site and to have total control over the future. Not everything is done, but we thought that it was time to launch and move on from there. If you find anything that is broken, let us know in the It's Broken! forum. The News and Links sections are pretty sparse, and there are more features coming to the Video pages, but for now enjoy the random auto-fit pages. Try resizing or refreshing the home page. We dare you. Oh, and speaking of the Forum, we were able to save everything from the old forum, so all your posts should be there. Just login with your old username and password. As you've probably noticed if you're a regular visitor to the site, our design has been slowly updating over the last several days. We've been working hard to develop something original and because we're lazy, all the work is being done to the live site. So you may experience some glitches. That's normal. Eventually things will probably settle down, but for now there's craziness.
